TEFL Job Guidance
- On Friday of week 1, trainees participate in a group session on how to modify their CV / resume for EFL teaching.
- Trainees are advised about job opportunities in Greece and worldwide and lists of jobs sites and schools are provided.
- At the beginning of week 2, trainees are offered individual guidance on their CV / resume and cover letter.
- On Friday of week 2, trainees have the opportunity
to participate in a group
workshop covering issues such as:
- choosing where to work
- conditions in various countries
- what to look for in a language school
- teaching in Greece
- preparing for an interview
- interview techniques
- Throughout the course, each trainee is given further individual assistance with the job search as required.
- TEFL Corinth / Anglo-Hellenic contact schools with vacancies in Greece (depending on the time of year) and arrange interviews for trainees.
- We help you to research vacancies in your chosen location(s)
- We subscribe to several Greek and international ELT periodicals with job vacancies and contacts, and have a well-stocked resource library with information and contacts about TEFL jobs throughout the world.
- You have unlimited broadband internet access at the training center to aid your search.
- The TEFL International network will continue to offer support and guidance throughout your career.

*Greece is an EU country and it is easier for EU nationals to find teaching jobs than for non-EU nationals. Apart from graduates of the TEFL International TEFL course, we are not able to assist non-EU nationals in finding teaching work in Greece.
