TEFL Job Guidance

    TEFL Corinth is operated by Anglo-Hellenic Teacher Recruitment, the main source of TEFL jobs in Greece, so we are in a unique position to help you find the job you want in Greece on completion of the TEFL course in Corinth*.

     Through our international network of schools and contacts, we can also help you find a job anywhere else in the world.

    The availability of jobs teaching English around the world is as strong as ever. Click on the menu links in this section to see a selection of current TEFL job vacancies.

    The following specific job guidance is provided during the course:

    Week 1

    • On Friday of week 1, trainees participate in a group session on how to modify their CV / resume for EFL teaching.
    • Trainees are advised about job opportunities in Greece and worldwide and lists of  jobs sites and schools are provided.

    Week 2

    • At the beginning of week 2, trainees are offered individual guidance on their CV / resume and cover letter.
    • On Friday of week 2, trainees have the opportunity to participate in a group workshop covering issues such as:
      • choosing where to work
      • conditions in various countries
      • what to look for in a language school
      • teaching in Greece
      • preparing for an interview
      • interview techniques

    Weeks 3 & 4

    • Throughout the course, each trainee is given further individual assistance with the job search as required.

    Ongoing

    • TEFL Corinth / Anglo-Hellenic contact schools with vacancies in Greece (depending on the time of year) and arrange interviews for trainees.
    • We help you to research vacancies in your chosen location(s)
    • We subscribe to several Greek and international ELT periodicals with job vacancies and contacts, and have a well-stocked resource library with information and contacts about TEFL jobs throughout the world.
    • You have unlimited broadband internet access at the training center to aid your search.
    • The TEFL International network will continue to offer support and guidance throughout your career.

*Greece is an EU country and it is easier for EU nationals to find teaching jobs than for non-EU nationals. Apart from graduates of the TEFL International TEFL course, we are not able to assist non-EU nationals in finding teaching work in Greece.
