From June to September, the Hellenic Festival offers an extensive program of theater, music and dance at three venues in Athens plus the ancient theater at Epidavros in the Peloponnese, an hour's drive from Corinth.
We combine an afternoon visit to this scenic coastal area with an evening performance at the theater. If you're particularly interested in a specific performance, let us know in good time to arrange tickets.
For 2009 we recommend:
A) During the July 6 - 31 course
Euripides' Alcestis performed by The National Theatre of Greece on 17 & 18 July
B) During the August 10 - September 4 course
Aristophanes' The Birds directed by Sotiris Hatzakis on 14 & 15 August.
